Highlanders’ Head Coach, Jamie Joseph, has named the team to play the Crusaders at home in Dunedin on Saturday night (5.35pm kick-off). After another hard-fought victoryover the Hurricanes in Wellington last weekend the team is preparing to face off against a Crusaders team hurting from a loss at home against the Sharks. The game will involve no fewer than fifteen players who attended this week’s All Black training camp. The annual South Island derby always provides an entertaining and hard fought spectacle and will be played in front of an expected 20,000 plus crowd.

Lima Sopoaga returns from an ankle injury to start at first-five and will be facing off against old team mate Colin Slade. Patrick Osborne also returns from an ankle injury and Malakai Fekitoa has been cleared to play after spending the week and All Black training camp in a moon boot. Liam Coltman is sidelined with a calf injury and expected to be available for selection next week when the Highlanders take on the Reds in Brisbane.
