Jona Nareki was a member of the 2017 world champion winning NZ U20 team and his speed and agility have seen him selected in the All Blacks Sevens squad, as well as playing over 50 games for Otago. He was a part of the Ranfurly Shield winning team in 2018 and is recognised as an elite finisher with an eye for the try line.
Nareki is an impressive player with an ability to finish from almost anywhere on the field and is only 5-points shy of a century for the Highlanders.
He currently sits on 48-caps for the Highlanders and will go into the 2026 season with the goal of consistent selection with an eye on bringing up 50 caps for the Club he has been with since 2020.
