Caleb Tangitau is a talented young rugby player from the North Shore, making his mark as a dynamic winger in both rugby sevens and Union.
Tangitau rose to prominence through the New Zealand Schools program and later excelled in the New Zealand Condor Sevens team in 2020. By 2022, he earned a full-time contract with the All Blacks Sevens and quickly became a standout, emerging as New Zealand's top try-scorer that season.
Tangitau represented New Zealand at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, contributing to the team's bronze medal win.
In 2025, Tangitau became a standout for the Highlanders, scoring six tries in seven games before his season was cut short by injury. His strong form at the beginning of the season and during the NPC season was recognised with selection in the All Blacks XV at the end of the year.
In 2026, Caleb continued his form and lit up the competition again until the end of the season, when he unfortunately ruptured his Achilles.
Heading into 2027, Caleb will be looking to bounce back even stronger after a lengthy rehabilitation.
