Andrew Knewstubb is a seasoned back-line talent hailing from Wellington, New Zealand, known for his electric running, sharp off-loads and game-breaking ability in the wider channels.
A former stalwart of the All Blacks Sevens team, Knewstubb made his mark on the global stage with a gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and a silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Transitioning into the 15-man game, he appeared for Canterbury Rugby Football Union in the NPC and in 2025 re-established himself with a strong season for the Red & Blacks, showing quality performances at full-back and first-five-eighth.
Now set to join the Highlanders for the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific season, Knewstubb brings a rare blend of sevens-honed agility, big-game experience and attacking ingenuity to the back-line.
