Will Stodart is a 20-year-old loose forward who is originally from Christchurch but plays for Otago in the NPC competition. 

Stodart attended St Andrews College in Christchurch where he captained the First XV rugby team. He moved to Otago after school, joining the Highlanders High-Performance Programme. He represented the Highlanders at the Super Rugby U20 tournament in Taupō, and was named in the New Zealand U20 in 2023. 

He made his NPC debut for Otago in 2023 and was a late edition to the Highlanders squad in 2024 due to injury.
