Te Kamaka (TK) Howden is a Fielding-born, 23-year-old Loose Forward. He comes to the Highlanders after a stand-out year for Manawatu in the 2024 NPC season, picking up Manawatu's Player of the Year award. 

The illusive loose forward made his Super Rugby debut for the Hurricanes in 2022 and debuted for the Māori All Blacks in the same year. 

TK will bring his versatility and physicality to the Highlanders forward pack in 20205. 

What does representing the Highlanders mean to you? 

My older brother played for the Highlanders, so I’m excited to join him.
