Tayne Harvey is a dynamic midfield back hailing from Palmerston North Boys’ High School, known for his agility, strong running lines and defensive tenacity.

Harvey aligned with the Southland Stags in the high‑performance pathway and was selected for the New Zealand U20 squad in 2025, highlighting his rise among the country’s young backline talent. 

Heading into his next chapter, Harvey will be looking to build on his representative honours and push for regular appearances in the Super Rugby environment with the Highlanders back‑three.
