Nic Shearer is a scrum‑half from Christchurch Boys’ High School. He came through the Marist Albion club in Canterbury and made his Bunnings NPC appearance for Canterbury in 2024, playing eight games and scoring two tries.
He later moved to Southland Stags, where he featured in the side’s campaign and scored in their historic Ranfurly Shield match.
Heading into 2026, Shearer will be looking to build on his provincial experiences, refine his game‑management around the ruck, and push for greater opportunities at Super Rugby level.
