Meihana Grindlay is a powerful midfield back from King’s College, Auckland, standing at 188 cm and weighing 107 kg, known for his strong running lines, physical defence, and off‑loading ability.
Grindlay made his NPC debut with the Taranaki Bulls in 2021 and became a regular in the squad, with a notable season in 2023 where he scored a key try in Taranaki’s Bunnings NPC final win.
He was elevated to the Blues Super Rugby squad ahead of 2024, making his debut in Round 13 against the Highlanders at Eden Park.
