Lui Naeata is a 30-year-old loose forward, standing at 1.93m and weighing in at 120kg. 

Although Naeata was born in Tonga, he has been playing rugby in Japan since 2018 and has earned 40 caps in the Japanese Top League. 

With the help of his size, Naeata will bring his dominating physicality, along with his experience, to help create a well-rounded Highlanders forward pack this season.
