Jack Taylor is a Southland-born hooker who has had an impressive start to his career after being selected into the Southland Stags NPC team in 2022 and making his debut for both Southland and the Highlanders in 2023. 

In 2023 Jack was also selected for the New Zealand Under 20's team that competed in South Africa for the U20's Rugby World Cup. 

Before 2023, Jack was part of the John Jones Steel Highlanders High Performance Programme which paved his pathway into the full squad for 2024 where he earned another 11 caps on top of his one from 2023 in a solid rookie season.
