Henry Bell is an East Otago local who went to John McGlashan College.
The Hooker plays for Otago in the NPC and debuted in 2020. In 2023 Bell went over to the U.S. to play in the Major League Rugby competition and played for the Utah Warriors.
Bell joined the Highlanders for his rookie Super Rugby season in 2024, debuting in round one against Moana Pasifika.
After another solid year in 2025, he will head into 2026 aiming to establish himself as a regular starter
and continue developing into a reliable leader in the Highlanders forward pack
