Ben Lopas is a young prop born in 2001, known for his compact build and strong scrummaging.
Lopas came through the Green Island club in Dunedin and was named in the Otago squad for the 2023 Bunnings NPC, making his first-class debut that year.
Standing 1.81 m and 111 kg, Lopas brings strength and physicality in the front row and is seen as a developing talent within Otago’s forward rotation.
Heading into 2026, Lopas will be looking to build on his provincial experience and push towards Super Rugby opportunities, aiming to establish himself as a dependable front-row option at the next level.
