Lone Star Dunedin Partners with the Highlanders to Celebrate Southern Spirit
21 November 2025
The Highlanders and Lone Star Dunedin are proud to announce their partnership.
A collaboration that brings together two southern icons united by shared values of loyalty, teamwork, and community spirit.
Lone Star owners Leo Rojas and Belen Sanhueza said of the partnership.
“For us, this partnership represents more than a brand alignment; it’s a celebration of everything that makes the South special, its people, its pride, and its fierce sense of belonging. Both the Highlanders and Lone Star Dunedin share a deep commitment to their roots, working hard every day to create genuine connections and lasting memories. As owners of Lone Star Dunedin, we’ve always believed in hospitality that feels like home, full of love, care, and generosity. The Highlanders embody those same qualities every time they take the field. Joining forces feels like a natural fit, strengthening the bond between two local teams who share one community.
This partnership isn’t just about logos or promotions, it’s about celebrating what makes our community strong: family, passion, resilience, and teamwork. It’s a tribute to the South, where hard work, heart, and hospitality always go hand in hand.”
Highlanders Commercial Manager Mike Kerr is delighted with the announcement.
“As we mark our thirty-year milestone, we’re proud to reignite our long-standing relationship between the Highlanders and Lone Star. Leo and Belen share the spirit of community and connection, values that the Lone Star has always represented, and a place where our people can gather and enjoy true hospitality. Their commitment to our team, our community, and the warmth of their welcome makes this partnership a perfect fit.”
