Highlanders Celebrate Three All Blacks
23 June 2025
The Highlanders are proud to acknowledge the selection of three players in the 2025 All Blacks squad, including two debutants in 22-year-old lock Fabian Holland and 27-year-old midfielder Timoci Tavatavanawai. Their inclusion in Head Coach, Scott Robertson’s, first All Blacks squad is a significant milestone for both players and a proud moment for the club.
They join established All Black prop Ethan de Groot, who was the Highlanders’ sole national representative in 2024. De Groot will no doubt welcome the arrival of his club teammates into the national fold.
Highlanders Head Coach, Jamie Joseph said he was proud of the trio's achievement.
“It’s great news for Fabian and Timoci — they’ve both worked extremely hard and shown real growth this season,” Joseph said. “I’m sure they will continue to flourish at international level. To now have three Highlanders in the All Blacks is a special moment for those guys and for our club.”
