Michael Manson joins the Highlanders after an impressive season with the Southland Stags. 

Although originally from Southland, Manson attended Otago Boys' High School and did a short stint with Otago before heading over to Utah to play for the Utah Warriors in the Major League Rugby season in 2024. 

Manson stood out during his time in Utah and will be one to watch among the Highlanders' back line. 

What does representing the Highlanders mean to you? 

It has always been my goal to be a part of the team.
