Michael Loft is a versatile loose forward who is currently playing for the Taranaki Bulls in the NPC competition. 

After debuting for the Bulls in 2022, Loft was named as the most Promising Player that year. 

Throughout his 25 appearances for Taranaki, Loft has showcased his ability to excel at lock, flanker and number 8,  making him a valuable player to the Highlanders in 2025.
