BRAVEHEARTS TO FACE CRUSADER DEVELOPMENT AT PLEASANT POINT

The John Jones Steel Highlanders’ Bravehearts team has been named to play the Crusaders development team in Pleasant Point on Saturday.

This is the first of a two-game fixture with the second to take place on the 23^rd of March in Pleasant Point also. These are important fixtures in the early rounds of Super Rugby as they ensure all squad members can maintain their game readiness to fully take advantage of any opportunities that may come their way.

Bravehearts Coach, Riki Flutey said, “This is an opportunity for players to continue to compete for positions within our squad. We’re well connected as a Highlanders’ coaching group and have clear things we’re keen to see from our players this weekend.”

As well as Highlanders’ full contract squad members there are wider training group members and representatives from around the Highlanders region with connected Provincial Unions given the opportunity to provide players to take part in these development games.
