Rohan Wingham is a Dunedin local and attended King's High School, where he  captained his first XV team.

Wingham had early success and represented the New Zealand Barbarian U18 team and New Zealand Schools. In 2021, he further demonstrated his skills by joining the Highlanders U20 team and in 2023, he earned a spot on the Otago NPC team.

In 2024, Wingham was initially overlooked for the Highlanders squad for the 2024 Super Rugby Pacific season, and was named in the wider training group. However, in January 2024, he was later announced as a replacement signing for the Highlanders.

What's the best advice you've ever received? 

Get better not bitter. 

What inspires you? 

Seeing improvement in something I've been grinding away with.
