Biography

Daniel Lienert-Brown joined the Highlanders early on in the 2015 season and became a real asset in the front row. Lienert-Brown hails from Christchurch and made his super rugby debut for the Crusaders in 2014 after being called into the team from the wider training group. He is a young, skillful prop who will look to build upon the good performance of last season. Rugby runs in the family with younger brother Anton Lienert-Brown being a member of the Chiefs since 2014. Lienert-Brown was a member of the 2013 New Zealand U20 team that played in the 2013 IRB Junior World Championship in France.

What is your first rugby memory? Running down the sideline and throwing the ball backwards over my head because I was tired
