Luca Inch, is a young, mobile prop from Motueka. He was named in the 2021 New Zealand Under 20 squad and then picked up an NPC contract with the Tasman Mako that same year. 

Luca made his NPC debut for the Mako, coming off the bench in Round 3 against Northland and went on to  play in 8 matches including the Final. Following an impressive break out season at NPC level, Luca was a late inclusion in the Highlanders 2022 Super Rugby squad (as injury cover) and made his debut against the Waratahs later that year.

Injury limited Luca to just 5 games for the Mako in 2022.
