Liam 'The Beast' Coltman enters his 10th Super Rugby season for the Highlanders in 2022 and is an impressive athlete. After being elevated from the wider training group in 2013, Coltman has shown himself to be a powerful and abrasive hooker with great commitment and work ethic leading towards an impressive 129 caps for the Highlanders. This makes him the most capped Hooker and the third most capped Highlander of all time.

As an ever-consistent performer, he has been involved with the All Blacks in recent times and will resume his competition for the starting hooker position in 2022.

When not playing rugby, Coltman enjoys surfing, fishing and spending time with his young family.
