Revised draw for 2022 announced

Today a revised draw has been announced by SANZAR to mitigate the potential impact of border uncertainties in the early parts of 2022.

The revised draw sees the Highlander’s home season open against mainland rivals, the Crusaders, on Saturday 26th February at Forsyth Barr Stadium. There will be another five games played at home in 2022 with a good mix of Friday, Saturday and Sunday games against Moana Pasifika, Blues, Hurricanes, Force and the Waratahs.

The Super Round has been moved to ANZAC weekend in Melboune and will see the Highlanders take on the Brumbies in a fitting ANZAC weekend match up.

The two Highlander’s pre-season games remain unchanged and the recently announced addition of Sir Dave Dobbyn and band to the Farmlands Cup on Friday 4th February in Weston, Oamaru is sure to make it an unmissable event. Following the Farmlands Cup the Highlanders will play Moana Pasifika on Friday 11th February in Queenstown.
