Biography
Born and raised in the heart of Highlanders country in Balclutha, Matt Faddes played his first provincial rugby match for Otago in the 2011 ITM Cup against North Harbour. In 2013, he earnt a place in the All Blacks Sevens team, playing in three tournaments throughout the season. In 2016, Faddes scored 10 tries in 16 games, as well as a hat-trick against the Kings. 2018 will potentially be a year to prove himself as a regular face in the starting side, with Malakai Fekitoa's departure to France.
